Those That Follow
A horror film for Thailand, shot on iPhone in low light.
To illustrate iPhone's low light camera capabilities in Thailand, Apple tapped into the nation's superstitious nature to create that brand's first-ever horror film.
A hallucinatory tale of karmic revenge.
Inspired by the 'Phi Ta Khon' festival, a day locals believe spirits are free to roam amongst them. The story follows two teens on the run after a robbery goes wrong. They attempt to lay low at a local ghost mask festival, but soon learn that there's no hiding from their sins, no matter what mask they wear.
Behind the Scenes
We shot the entire film in low light settings, while demonstrating key product features. iPhone captured the ingredient of darkness, central to any great horror film, with no additional lenses. Alongside the main film, we shot a BTS film to capture the director, cinematographer, and crew shooting with iPhone.
Announcing the film on Bangkok's most haunted site.
We took over the city's infamous 'Ghost Tower', or Sathorn Unique, an abandoned skyscraper in the heart of Bangkok to promote the film. On the large-scale billboard, eerie eyes behind the mask became visible when night falls.
Ads that teach.
We created targeted ads to teach iPhone users how to re-create moments from the film, using the iPhone camera features.
